Dr. David Hile, MD
Dr. David Hile, MD is a board-certified Emergency Physician, Fellowship trained in Wilderness Medicine, with more than 15 years of experience.
He is passionate about cutting-edge, evidence based treatments for painful conditions, and improving overall quality of health.
Dr. David Hile attended Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed his residency training at Darnall Army Medical Center in Ft. Hood, Texas, while serving in the U.S Army. Dr. Hile was deployed multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and continues to serve in the Army Reserves. He was awarded the Bronze Star for superior service while deployed as a Surgeon with U.S Special Operations Forces.
Dr. Hile has served as medical faculty as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University and Johns Hopkins University before leaving to focus on evidence-based, innovative approaches to pain relief. He combines multiple disciplines to offer effective and enduring non-narcotic methods of pain relief. He is a member of the American Academy of Procedural Medicine.
Dr. Alex Sutherland, MD
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Sutherland completed his BS in Neuroscience and MD at the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. After completing Emergency Medicine residency training at the University of Washington / Madigan Army Medical Center, he was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado in 2005 where he was on active duty, deploying to Iraq in 2007. He completed his active duty in 2008 with an honorable discharge and currently works at Parkview Medical Center as a Board Certified Emergency Physician.
Dr. Sutherland’s interest in pain management has developed out of his own struggles with chronic back pain, having found Botox to be highly effective treatment. Dr. Sutherland’s goal is to help others with chronic pain while avoiding the addictive effects of opiate medications.
He and his wife live in the suburbs of Denver and is a proud father of four active children. In his free time, he is likely to be riding his mountain bike or training for a triathlon with his wife.
